Christine Lee

BOOK A DISCOVERY CALL

This was an excellent experience for me. Christine helped me renew and redirect my focus on my strengths vs. my learned behaviors, which allowed me to really understand the best way to engage with people and projects.

Learning that I was a Creative foundational voice empowered me to consciously lean into this voice and readily identify outside the box solutions and opportunities, while also intentionally communicating more clearly, which then led to better utilization of my ideas.

I also learned how to intentionally elevate the “lower volume” voices within my department to bring their potential out, so that they could make greater contributions to the team, while also having more buy-in towards desired outcomes. I am continuing to use the tools and frameworks to maximize my professional relationships.

I would definitely recommend Christine for both her professionalism as well as her insightful observations - the application of those observations assisted each member of my cohort to understand themselves better. Christine challenged me in a natural way, allowing for self-reflection and empowerment to facilitate my advancement.”

  • Koji G, Elavon

I learned to stop doubting myself, knowing that my contributions are valuable. I gave myself permission to lean into my Guardian voice of asking challenging questions, while intentionally elevating my Nurturer voice - specifically, I started my meetings by connecting on personal level instead of jumping right into business, which made a tremendous difference in my work relationships and how well our team worked together.

I came to understand not only my tendencies and triggers, but also why people are reacting the way they are when I probe them in my interrogation mode - so now, I am able to choose a different response when I am triggered and lean into the relationship more instead. I also came to appreciate the strengths of the people who used to trigger me as well in the past, which elevated our teamwork. It was a great opportunity to be part of this cohort, to be vulnerable and learn from each other.

  • Madhavi G, Daimler Chrysler

Christine’s coaching was impactful, in helping me develop a more effective leadership style and identify the various leadership voices within me. I particularly appreciated the 1:1 sessions with Christine and the breakout structured approach which kept me focused and accountable. It was helpful wrestling through how differing voices react to similar situations. The leadership tools helped me understand myself better - I thought I knew everything about myself, but of course that wasn’t true - I explored how I can be a better version of myself for my team, and in what ways I can impact my team.

The Support Challenge Matrix and 5 Voices Framework made it easier for me to identify what a liberating leader looks like, and how I can seek to become that person for my team - it was nice to see that I naturally bring high Challenge, but how can I bring more Support? It was mind blowing to see my triggers, and what negative impact that has on people and how people can perceive my weapons. I came to appreciate both the positive and negative aspects of my Voice, and to better understand how other Voices want to be heard.”

  • Sarah W, US Bank Corporate

Realizing my tendency to dominate myself and negative self-talk, helped me become more self aware and choose a different response, which led to improved performance both in my basketball game and at work. I learned to not overthink and doubt myself and actually accept the praise I was receiving at work.

The 5 Voices framework also helped me identify my Nurturer voice and tendency to not speak up when I had something to say because I didn’t want to disrupt the meetings - instead, I learned to speak up, knowing that people want to hear my thoughts. I learned to also lean more into my Connector voice with people on my team, and be intentional, understanding that other people have various combinations of the 5 Voices around me, which helped me make more meaningful connections with them

  • Michael C, Daimler Truck North America

When it came to managing my career, I was often doing what I thought was right… but I didn't have a clear direction of how to navigate challenging conversations or situations. The leadership training with Christine helped me become more intentional in my interactions with people in what I say and do, and also more intentional with myself in how I plan ahead for these conversations.

I tend to be non-confrontational and beat around the bush because I don't want to make anyone upset, but now I am more comfortable pushing back on people especially when I disagree with them. Instead of staying silent, because in my mind that’s what respect looks like, I have come to learn that respect can look like providing high challenge along with high support.

I also learned that I don't have to do everything - we have people in my cohort and in my work team who loves processes and following the rules whom I could rely on.

I tend to talk a lot and tend to be the first one to talk but, in order to bolster the more quiet Nurturer voices, I learned to let everyone on the team speaks first before I talk, and to make sure that I listen to understand, instead of listening just to fix a problem.

I appreciated my coaching cohort with Christine because so many of us in our group had different personalities and voice orders - and it was wonderful learning from all of you.. And I see you guys in the people on my work team and how I should be interacting with them more intentionally - you guys effectively made me a better person. This training has made huge impact on how I do my work on a day-to-day basis.
